FancyThat!, headquartered in La Mesa, California, is a 100% woman owned business specializing in a new line of stylish decorative packing tapes. The Original Decorative Packing Tape™ is a concept that originated with founding partners, Deborah Curry and Peggy Schipper in the fall of 2007. Both women had become quite accustomed to the pace of a modern working mother. They soon saw common goals in each other. Both Peggy and Deborah had a desire to bring about a means to enable the freedom to participate in life and care for their families on their own terms. To create a business that reflected their collective personality and personal goals for their families and communities became an aspiration.

The innovative product was born out of a desire to bring easy style to the outside of a boring shipping box bearing gifts that had been dressed to impress. The unique idea emerged to give utilitarian packing tape, so familiar and easy to use, an extreme makeover. The concept is that functional can be fabulous. The quality tapes are stylish and fun, as well as practical and affordable. They are currently available in 10 gorgeous patterns and colors, in single rolls or coordinating duos. All designs are derived from beautiful vintage fabric and feed sack patterns. FancyThat! is thrilled to pioneer this new market.
